italian-studies: Scholarly discussions in any field of Italian studies
Hello, I am a medievalist, working on intertextuality in Petrarch and Boccaccio. Last year, my colleague Claudia and I took the new challenge of working on Dante in Western cinema by presenting a panel session at the 2009 SIS conference.
Now we would like to offer for publication a two-part study on revisiting and transposition of Dante's Commedia in European and Northern American cinema, with a particular regard to Italian/Finnish and Hollywood movies from the 70ies to nowadays.
